Mancini's Path to Cashing In on Canucks Deal
Victor Mancini inks a two-year, $1 million AAV extension with the Canucks, locking in a one-way deal that pays him the same whether he sticks in Vancouver or heads back to Abbotsford. The 23-year-old blue-liner, acquired in the J.T. Miller trade, helped deliver a Calder Cup last spring but struggles for points in limited NHL minutes this season. GM Patrik Allvin bets on his size and development for backend depth, but Mancini must prove he belongs in the top six to justify the raise before 2028.
