Georgiev Ends KHL Deal, Eyes NHL Comeback

Alexandar Georgiev has taken the first concrete step toward getting back to the NHL by terminating his KHL contract. Moves like this do not happen unless the player believes there is still a market, and Georgiev clearly wants back into the league’s goalie carousel. The challenge is that reopening that door does not guarantee a soft landing, especially with teams already sorting out summer plans in net.
