Flames Ship Kadri Home to Avs, Conroy Nails Deadline

Calgary Flames GM Craig Conroy pulls off a stunner at the 2026 NHL trade deadline, sending Nazem Kadri back to the Colorado Avalanche where he hoisted the Cup in 2022. The deal packs young forward Victor Olofsson, prospect Maxmilian Curran, conditional picks in 2027 and 2028, plus Colorado tossing in a 2027 fourth - all while Flames retain 20% of Kadri's $7M cap hit.
