Eddie Joyal, Kings pioneer and 1964 Finals hero, dies at 86

The hockey world is mourning Eddie Joyal, one of the original Los Angeles Kings who helped establish professional hockey on the West Coast. Joyal was part of that historic 1964 Stanley Cup Finals team that announced the Kings' arrival as a legitimate NHL franchise. His nine-season career took him through four different organizations, but his fingerprints on the Kings' foundation remain indelible.
