Blackhawks Get Creative With Pridham Rights - Bigger Issue Lingers

Chicago squeezed value out of Jack Pridham’s rights, and that part of the playbook deserves credit. But front offices do not make these moves in a vacuum, and the underlying problem in this organization is still sitting there waiting for a real fix. The Blackhawks can dress up one transaction as savvy, but the larger test is whether they are building enough depth to avoid these deadline scrambles in the first place.
